About

Indy Museum Exchange is a project by students and faculty from the IUPUI Museum Studies Program. We created this site as way to help connect museum professionals in the Indianapolis area. As people who collaborate with a wide range of museums, we know there is tremendous work being done, but also many challenges and shared concerns. Our hope is that this website, along with allied social media and groups, will be a way to share information and ideas among people working in museums of all sizes and disciplines, as well as those with different specialties and years of experience.

We’re starting with resources specifically for museums navigating COVID-19, and we hope the site will be useful for supporting exchange and connections into the post-pandemic and beyond.
