We have a revised logo for Indy Museum Exchange, and the process exemplifies the power of collaboration. Museum Studies student Alisha Beard did the first version, and Kendrick Underhill, a Herron design student did the next iteration. With comments from Laura Holzman and Liz Kryder-Reid, we refined it slightly, and Kendrick finalized the version you see here. Collaboration, as the Museum Studies faculty are fond of saying, has “labor” at its center. It generally takes more time, but it produces richer, more complex results.
